The total length of the network operated by IP is currently 15 049 km, of which 14 036 km are under our direct management and 1 013 km are operated under sub-concession agreements.

The National Road Network roads is classified in the National Road Plan - Decree-Law No 222/98, with the following ranking: IP, IC and EN.

• IP (Main Route): 2 341 km

• IC (Complementary Route): 1 909 km

• EN (National Road): 4 857 km

The IP network has 3 506 km of regional roads, 3 740 km of “declassified” roads to be handed over and 1 344 km of “declassified” roads with IP or IC functions (not transferred until the construction of IP or IC roads).
