IP is a member of CEEP Portugal - European Center for Employers and Companies supplying Public Services and Services of General Interest, GRACE - Analysis and Support Group for Corporate Citizenship and the RSO.PT network.
IP is a member of CEEP Portugal whose mission is to contribute to the economic and social development of the country, while defending the interests of all providers of services of general interest.
CEEP reinforces sustainable development including environmental criteria in all decisions relating to the implementing of EU policies, such as transport, infrastructure, energy, water supply, health, social housing, etc.
IP has been a member of CEEP Portugal since it was founded in 2015, with the former REFER having joined in 2002 and the former EP – Estradas de Portugal in 2006.
In November 2015, IP established a partnership with GRACE – Analysis and Support Group for Corporate Citizenship, an organization dedicated to sharing the best practices in Social Responsibility and sustainability policies. The aim is to foster company participation in the current social situation and the development of social responsibility initiatives with visible and specific impacts, in coordination with other stakeholders.
In April 2018, IP joined the Portuguese Network for the Social Responsibility of Organizations (RSO.PT), an informal structure of organizations, both public as well as private, to promote the Social Responsibility of Organizations through the sharing of experience and knowledge among members. RSO.PT has adopted the concept of Social Responsibility as defined in the European Strategy for Corporate Social Responsibility.
